Please continue to teach us, guide us, correct and chastise us for our offenses, so that we may become better servants at your lotus feet.
It’s unfortunate that you were unable to be in our direct association here in the Philippines. Sri Gaura Vinoda Saraswata Seva Ashram is forever at your service and disposal. Please consider it your earthly home here in the Philippines. However, no matter how much we paint, renovate, and fix, it will never be able to be worthy of your divine presence.

I thought you might like to see some photos taken on the day of Srila Govinda Maharaja’s tirobhava.
Lila Sundari Devi collected a great number of apple blossoms from neighbors to use for decorating.
There are two large vases like this, one on each side of the altar.
Lila also collected many magnolia tree blossoms which were also used for offering/decorating.
Bhoga offerings included shaka (top of plate) collected from our yard. When Srila Gurudeva was here I prepared this for him fried in mustard oil with chili, mustard seeds, etc. and he liked it very much.

Listening to the recording of Jaya Radhe.., I’m on the far right of Srila Prabhupada. That was a great relief for me that the recording (by Krishna mercy) came out perfectly. I never recorded anyone before and when I was asked to record Srila Prabhupad I just grabbed the recorder and ran to Srila Prabhupada’s room. When I was laying down the second track I thought that I was erasing the first track. I was in incredible anxiety. I felt I was going to faint! Finally when I played the finished recording–to my eternal relief–the recording came out perfectly. Whenever I hear that bhajan it brings me back to that relishable memory.

Bhakta Ben and I went to Bridgeway Recovery Center in Salem, Oregon to visit someone named Will bhakta Ben had met who invited us to the center. Will expressed he was interested in some new books, and that he wished to hear about the Sri Govinda Divya-vani Seva Ashram and Krishna Consciousness. Bhakta Ben and I came prepared with books and an openness to speak on all related topics, and to share with any other interested individuals there. I did not take or ask for pictures from anyone but us and Will, due to privacy concerns.
Upon arriving, bhakta Ben and I had to sign in and wait for Will in the general TV and “hang out” area of the center. An employee of the center came to ask questions, and wanted further information, she made positive remarks about our program and seemed interested in learning more so I gave her a business card with the SCS Math NJ information and the Sri Govinda Ashram information.… Read More...

By the mercy of Srila Gurudeva, bhakta Ben and I set out to distribute books from SCS Math’s Salem, OR ashram, Sri Govinda Divya-vani Seva Ashram. Going everywhere we can, today we went to the Lancaster Mall and it’s connected movie theatre Regal Cinemas. We circled the outside of the complex asking that each person we met make an offering for a book of scripture to support the local ashram’s mission in support of devotional service. All books include a business card and an SCS Math sticker with NJ contact info, so that they can contact the SCS Math and the Sri Govinda Ashram to find out further information.… Read More...

The servitors of Sri Govinda Divya-vani Seva Ashram are aspiring daily to spread the Holy Name of Sri Sri Guru-Gauranga around the world, mercifully distributing everywhere we can, aspiring to participate in the Loving Search for the Lost Servant. On this day in Salem, Oregon, Sriman Radha-Syam prabhu, myself Indra Bandhu dasa, and bhakta Ben (our new bhakta who moved into the ashram during Srila Govinda Maharaja’s Divine Appearance Day celebration, and one year anniversay of the ashram), canvassed the streets and parks of downtown Salem on a book distribution and flyering mission. It was a crisp and chilly day, but sunny with a clear blue sky, and brightened further by the smiles of the aspiring disciples of Sri Gurudeva, Srila Giri Maharaja whose Divine Grace and spiritual presence is felt as we do this service, as His Divine Grace is so pleased by book distribution following the Divine Will of Srila Sarasvati Thakura.… Read More...

Celebrating this first anniversary of the Sri Govinda Divya-vani Seva Ashram, and first year anniversary of Sriman Radha-Syama dasa brahmacari taking saffron from Srila Giri Maharaja, on this the auspicious Divine Appearance day of Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda-deva Gosvami Maharaja, Sri Govinda Ashram was filled with the wonderful sounds of seva, Hari-katha, sankirtana, and the satisfied hum of all present partaking of delightful prasadam.
The ashram was given the Name Sri Govinda Divya-vani Seva Ashram by Srila Giri Maharaja, Acaryya of SCS Math, and continues to aspire to serve the devotees in the Divine-line of Sri Sri Guru-Gauranga, following the nectarean wave of spiritual mercy of our Divine Master Srila Govinda Maharaja distributed by Srila Giri Maharaja, while further aspiring to distribute His Divine Grace’s mercy to the devotees and public, in Salem, Oregon and abroad.
