Dear Sriman Ivan,
Please accept my humble obeisances in remembrance of my Divine Master.
Please excuse me for such a late response to your email. This happened because we changed our website in December of 2013 and I did not get any of the “Contact” emails that were sent to me until we fixed the problem a couple days ago.
I did not start any battle. The battle was started by Sripada Goswami Maharaja[”BSG”] and the members of the International Acharya Board.
I think you know my opinion about their behavior immediately following Srila Govinda Maharaja’s disappearance. The most severe problem I see is that BSG, and all members of the International Acharya Board, deviated from Srila Govinda Maharaja’s directions to each of the six acharyas he selected.
Because of these deviations I could no longer recognize them as bonafide acharyas in the line of Srila Govinda Maharaja and SCS Math.
My advice to you, and all those in your association, is to try your utmost to follow the teachings of our Sri Guru Varga as carefully as possible. In that way you will always be blessed by Srila Gurudeva to continue steadfastly on the path of Krishna Consciousness.
Our only hope for progress is to follow the mahatmas:
yasya deve para bhaktir
yatha deve tatha gurau
tasyaite kathita hy arthah
prakasante mahatmanah
“The key to success in spiritual life is unflinching devotion to both the spiritual master and Krsna. To those great souls who have full faith in both Krsna and the spiritual master, the inner meaning of the scriptures is fully revealed.”
I am familiar with the “Spoken Will” you referred me to and appreciate your offer of help.
I am satisfied that Srila Govinda Maharaja’s written will, as posted on our website, substantially represents his desires and instructions for us to follow after his disappearance. The “Spoken Will” simply reinforces the statements made in his written Will.
If you have any further comments or questions, please feel free to contact me at any time.
I pray this finds you well in health and spirits.
Swami B.K. Giri
